Our expanding logistics facility in Huntsville, Alabama is seeking dedicated Warehouse Workers to join our team. As a Warehouse Worker, you will play an integral role in the day-to-day operations of our distribution center, handling a variety of tasks including receiving, stocking, order picking, and shipping. We are committed to providing a safe and efficient work environment for all our employees. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, possess a strong work ethic, and be eager to contribute to our team's success in the challenging field of logistics.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments accurately.
- Pick and pack customer orders efficiently using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Stock inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Load outgoing shipments onto trucks for delivery.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all Safety protocols.
- Participate in inventory management tasks, including cycle counts.
- Wear and utilize all required PPE to ensure personal and team safety.
- Perform frequent lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
- Understanding of basic warehouse logistics is beneficial.
- Adherence to all company Safety guidelines and the importance of using PPE.
