*About Us:* Specialized Speech Center Inc. is a leading pediatric speech and occupational therapy practice with over 30 years of experience. We are committed to providing comprehensive evaluation and treatment for children with various diagnoses and disorders in a friendly and supportive atmosphere. With a focus on feeding and orofacial myology, it is the ideal place to learn in a more medical setting.
*Position Overview:* We are currently seeking part-time Speech Pathologist or Speech Assistant (SLP or SLPA) to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will be passionate, enthusiastic, and dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of children.
*Responsibilities:*
* Conducting evaluations to assess speech and language abilities
* Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
* Providing therapy to children with speech and language disorders
* Collaborating with other members of the therapy team and communicating with parents/caregivers
*Requirements:*
* Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) or relevant field
* Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure (SLP) or (SLPA)
* Certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) if applying for the assistant position
* Passion for working with children and helping them reach their full potential
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
