The Responsibilities
You will be a part of our dedicated warehousing and fulfillment team, working closely with the Warehouse Manager and Senior Fulfillment Specialists who will support and train you through all aspects of the job. Below are more formal responsibilities, but these aren't limited to other responsibilities that may arise.
Ensure Accurate Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment accurately and efficiently.
Handle Inventory: Receive, unload, and place incoming inventory items appropriately; perform regular inventory counts and checks.
Maintain Warehouse Organization: Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe; ensure items are stored correctly and according to company standards.
Operate Equipment: Safely use warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks; ensure all equipment is maintained and used properly.
Manage Shipping and Receiving: Process incoming shipments and outgoing orders, ensuring all documentation is accurate and items are shipped to the correct destinations.
Quality Control: Inspect products for defects and damages before shipment; report any issues to the Warehouse Manager.
Customer Interaction: Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues related to orders, shipping, and inventory via phone and email.
Support Operational Efficiency: Assist in improving warehouse processes and systems to increase efficiency and productivity.
Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members and departments to ensure seamless operations.
Technology Use: Utilize scanners, warehouse management systems (WMS) and other technology tools to track orders, inventory, and shipments.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends and best practices; participate in training and development opportunities.
The Skills & Experience
Proven Experience: 1+ years in warehouse operations, specifically in fast-paced picking roles within a high-volume environment.
Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under pressure.
Inventory Management: Familiarity with inventory management systems and warehouse operations best practices.
Team Player: Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed.
Safety and Efficiency: Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and operational efficiency.
Mature: Demonstrates responsibility and reliability in all tasks.
