We are looking for a diligent Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our logistics team in Dallas, Texas. This critical role ensures the efficient and accurate management of incoming and outgoing shipments. You will be responsible for receiving goods, verifying shipments against purchase orders, and preparing products for dispatch. Our commitment to safety means that all personnel must adhere to strict guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and proper lifting techniques. The ideal candidate is organized, possesses excellent communication skills, and has experience in warehouse operations or logistics. Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under pressure are essential. You will play a key part in maintaining accurate inventory levels and ensuring the smooth flow of materials through our facility. Responsibilities include:
- Receiving, unpacking, and inspecting incoming shipments.
- Verifying quantities and quality of received goods against documentation.
- Stocking received items in designated warehouse locations.
- Preparing outgoing shipments, including packing and labeling.
- Coordinating with carriers for pick-ups and deliveries.
- Maintaining accurate records of all shipping and receiving activities.
- Ensuring a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Operating warehouse equipment as needed (e.g., pallet jacks).
