We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join our dynamic logistics team in San Jose, California. In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve materials within our warehouse. Your expertise is crucial for maintaining the flow of goods and ensuring operational efficiency. Safety is paramount in our operations; therefore, adherence to all safety protocols, including proper equipment operation, and consistent use of personal protective equipment (PPE) are mandatory. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of safe forklift operation, a valid forklift certification, and excellent attention to detail. This position is integral to our logistics network, supporting both inbound and outbound shipments. Responsibilities include:
- Operating forklifts to move pallets, raw materials, and finished goods.
- Loading and unloading trucks and trailers.
- Storing materials in designated warehouse locations.
- Conducting daily pre-operation inspections of forklifts.
- Maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Adhering to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Assisting with other warehouse duties as needed, including lifting and order picking when required.
