As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for retrieving specific items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently. This role is fundamental to our **Logistics** operations, ensuring that the right products reach our customers without delay. You will utilize order forms and scanning equipment to locate and pick items, paying close attention to detail to ensure accuracy. Maintaining a clean and organized workspace is also a key part of the job, contributing to overall warehouse **Safety**. This position involves **Lifting** and moving products of various sizes and weights, so physical stamina is important. We require all employees to consistently use the provided **PPE** to ensure their well-being. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from designated warehouse locations based on customer orders.
- Verify picked items against order slips and use scanning technology.
- Handle products with care to prevent damage.
- Transport picked items to the packing and shipping areas.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company **Safety** policies and procedures.
- Properly wear and utilize all required **PPE**.
- Report any discrepancies or issues with inventory or orders.
- Perform **Lifting** of products up to 40 pounds.
- Contribute to efficient **Logistics** flow.
Qualifications:
- Previous order picking experience is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret order forms.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physical ability to **Lift** and move merchandise.
- Commitment to maintaining a **Safety**-conscious workplace.
- Willingness to wear **PPE** as required.
- Basic understanding of warehouse **Logistics**.
- Good organizational skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
