We are seeking a diligent Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our team in Denver, Colorado. This role is critical to managing the inbound and outbound flow of goods, forming a key part of our overall logistics operations. You will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of all shipments, including receiving incoming goods, verifying contents against purchase orders, stocking inventory, and preparing outgoing shipments. Maintaining organized staging areas and ensuring that all documentation is accurate and complete are essential functions of this position. A keen eye for detail and strong organizational skills are a must. This position requires close collaboration with carriers, internal departments, and warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations. Upholding a safe working environment is paramount; therefore, strict adherence to all company safety policies and the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE ) are mandatory. The role involves some physical activity, including Lifting of items typically up to 50 pounds. Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and log all incoming shipments.
- Verify incoming inventory against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Unpack, sort, and stock received items in designated locations.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including packaging, labeling, and documentation.
- Coordinate with carriers for pickup and delivery schedules.
- Maintain accurate records of all shipping and receiving activities.
- Keep the shipping and receiving areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Follow all established safety procedures and regulations.
- Wear appropriate PPE at all times while on duty.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations.
- Familiarity with shipping software and carrier procedures.
- Ability to perform tasks including Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper use of PPE .
