In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and preparing orders for shipment, and managing inventory. You will work closely with a team to ensure the efficient flow of goods and contribute to maintaining a high level of accuracy and productivity. A strong commitment to following instructions and maintaining a clean and safe working environment is essential. This position requires adherence to all company safety guidelines and the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE ). The role involves significant physical activity, including frequent Lifting of items weighing up to 50 pounds, and prolonged periods of standing and walking. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments.
- Stock shelves and organize inventory accurately.
- Pick products according to customer orders using RF scanners.
- Pack orders securely and prepare them for shipping.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and report any discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Operate material handling equipment safely.
- Follow all established safety procedures and protocols.
- Wear all required PPE diligently.
- Meet performance targets for order fulfillment and accuracy.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or distribution experience is beneficial.
- Ability to work effectively in a physically demanding role.
- Proficiency in basic math and reading skills.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and the proper use of PPE .
- Capacity for frequent Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
