In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking items for customer orders and carefully packing them for shipment, ensuring product integrity and customer satisfaction. You will utilize RF scanners and other warehouse technology to efficiently locate and retrieve products. Meticulous attention to detail is paramount to minimize errors and ensure order accuracy. This position requires the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team, contributing to overall warehouse efficiency and productivity. Maintaining a safe work environment is a top priority; therefore, adherence to all company safety policies and the consistent use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE ) are mandatory. The role involves regular Lifting of items up to 40 pounds and requires physical agility and endurance throughout your shift. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products based on order specifications using RF scanners.
- Inspect products for quality and damage before packing.
- Securely pack items to prevent damage during transit.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Maintain organized packing stations.
- Verify order details against picked items.
- Assist in maintaining warehouse cleanliness and organization.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.
- Wear designated PPE at all times.
- Meet established productivity goals for picking and packing.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret order forms and product labels.
- Dexterity and attention to detail.
- Capability for regular Lifting of up to 40 lbs.
- Commitment to upholding safety standards and using PPE .
