We are seeking a certified and experienced Forklift Operator to join our team at our Oklahoma City, Oklahoma logistics center. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a forklift to move, load, unload, and stack materials within the warehouse. This critical role ensures the smooth flow of goods and plays a key part in our overall supply chain management. You will also assist with other warehouse duties as needed, contributing to a productive and organized environment. Safety is our top priority, and you will be expected to strictly adhere to all company safety regulations, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers.
- Stack and retrieve materials from warehouse racking systems.
- Inspect forklift equipment daily and report any maintenance issues.
- Assist with receiving, stocking, and order picking duties.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety guidelines, including the proper use of PPE.
- Contribute to efficient logistics and inventory management processes.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator, preferably in a warehouse environment.
- Proficiency in operating various types of forklifts.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and proper PPE usage.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
