We are hiring a Material Handler for our San Francisco, California location. This role is fundamental to the smooth operation of our warehouse and logistics processes. You will be involved in all aspects of material handling, from receiving and storing goods to picking and preparing them for distribution. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to safety are essential. This position offers a challenging yet rewarding environment for individuals passionate about the warehouse industry. Responsibilities:
- Receive, identify, and store incoming materials accurately.
- Pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment according to specifications.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and proficiently.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through regular checks and participation in cycle counts.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Support shipping and receiving activities as needed.
- Assist with general warehouse maintenance and organization.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the logistics department.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a material handling or warehouse role preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to perform manual labor, including frequent Lifting of objects up to 50 lbs.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and safety standards.
- Proficiency in operating material handling equipment.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Understanding of logistics principles is beneficial.
- Willingness to adhere to all safety rules and wear necessary PPE.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
