Job Summary:
Join our dynamic logistics team as a Material Handler in Durham, North Carolina. This position is critical for ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of materials throughout our warehouse. You will be responsible for receiving, storing, moving, and preparing materials for various stages of our operations. Responsibilities:
  • Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials and supplies.
  • Store materials in designated areas, ensuring proper organization and accessibility.
  • Transport materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment.
  • Accurately record material movements and update inventory systems.
  • Prepare materials for internal use or external shipment.
  • Operate material handling equipment safely and maintain its upkeep.
  • Adhere strictly to all company Safety policies and procedures.
  • Utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
  • Participate in regular Safety training sessions.
  • Assist with inventory control and reconciliation tasks.

Qualifications:
Prior experience in material handling or a similar warehouse role is preferred. Certification and experience operating forklifts are a significant asset. Must be able to perform regular Lifting of materials up to 60 pounds. Understanding of warehouse Safety best practices is essential. Knowledge of logistics principles and inventory management. Ability to stand, walk, and operate machinery for extended periods. Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment. Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. This role is integral to our logistics success.
