We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Coordinator to oversee and manage key aspects of our warehouse operations in Tampa, Florida. This leadership role is critical to optimizing our inventory management and logistics processes, ensuring efficiency and accuracy. You will be responsible for coordinating the daily activities of the warehouse team, managing inventory levels, and implementing effective storage and retrieval systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, and a proven track record in warehouse management. A commitment to upholding the highest standards of workplace safety , including the correct use of PPE by yourself and your team, is paramount. While this role involves supervision, you must also be willing to assist with physical tasks as needed, which may include occasional Lifting of up to 50 lbs. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and direct warehouse staff.
- Oversee inventory management and cycle counts.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflows for efficiency.
- Manage the use and replenishment of supplies.
- Train new warehouse associates on procedures and safety .
- Ensure proper use of PPE by all team members.
- Assist with physical tasks, including Lifting , when necessary.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in supply chain or related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Coordinator, Supervisor, or similar role.
- Strong understanding of warehouse management systems and logistics .
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge of workplace safety practices and PPE .
- Ability to perform occasional heavy Lifting .
