We are seeking a diligent and energetic Material Handler to join our dynamic warehouse team in Boise, Idaho. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for the efficient movement and organization of materials throughout the warehouse. Your primary duties will include receiving, stocking, and preparing materials for shipment. This position is vital to our overall logistics operations, ensuring that products move smoothly from arrival to departure. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Experience with manual dexterity and previous warehouse experience is a plus. You will work closely with other warehouse staff and supervisors to meet daily operational goals. Responsibilities also include inventory checks and ensuring that all materials are handled with care to prevent damage. Your contribution will directly impact the efficiency and success of our distribution center. Compliance with all company policies and procedures, including safety protocols, is mandatory. This role involves frequent Lifting and requires the use of appropriate PPE at all times. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Load and unload trucks.
- Move materials from receiving to storage areas.
- Pick and stage materials for outgoing shipments.
- Perform regular inventory counts and assist with reconciliation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures.
- Use PPE as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role preferred.
- Ability to perform Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with warehouse logistics and inventory management.
- Commitment to workplace safety and the proper use of PPE .
