Are you a detail-oriented individual looking for an exciting opportunity in Miami, Florida? We are hiring an Order Picker to join our busy warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. Your ability to work efficiently and maintain precision is critical to our operations. You will utilize scanning technology to locate products and confirm selections, ensuring that every order is accurate. This position requires physical stamina, as you will be on your feet for most of your shift and performing tasks that involve bending, reaching, and lifting. We place a high priority on workplace safety, and you will be expected to follow all safety procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE. This is a key role in our logistics chain, directly impacting customer satisfaction. We are looking for motivated individuals who can contribute to a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from designated warehouse locations based on order tickets.
- Use scanning equipment to verify picked items and update inventory systems.
- Inspect products for quality and damage before staging for packing.
- Transport picked items to the packing station using carts or other equipment.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety rules and regulations, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory checks and cycle counting as directed.
- Report any discrepancies or issues with inventory or orders to a supervisor.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to meet order fulfillment targets.
- Demonstrate a commitment to safe Lifting practices.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
- Ability to read and interpret order tickets and product labels accurately.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach throughout the shift.
- Capability of lifting up to 40 pounds regularly.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment and RF scanning technology is a plus.
- Understanding of basic logistics principles and warehouse operations.
- Must be willing to wear designated PPE as required by company policy.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
