We have an immediate opening for a Forklift Operator at our busy Las Vegas, Nevada warehouse. This position is essential for the smooth functioning of our logistics operations, focusing on the safe and efficient movement of goods within the facility. You will be responsible for operating forklifts to transport materials, load and unload trucks, and support inventory management. A strong emphasis is placed on Safety and operational excellence. The ideal candidate is a certified forklift operator with a proven record of safe operation and a keen understanding of warehouse procedures. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move, stack, and retrieve inventory.
- Perform pre-shift inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance needs.
- Follow all Safety protocols, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Load and unload materials from trucks, ensuring proper securing and placement.
- Assist with order picking, staging, and put-away processes.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring clear pathways.
- Support inventory accuracy by correctly handling and moving stock.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to warehouse operations and logistics.
- Collaborate effectively with warehouse team members and supervisors.
- Participate in cycle counting and other inventory control activities.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to perform occasional Lifting of up to 60 lbs.
- Solid understanding of warehouse Safety standards and best practices.
- Good hand-eye coordination and mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to work in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
- Dependable and committed to punctuality.
