We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Order Picker to join our dynamic warehouse team in Omaha, Nebraska. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently selecting and preparing customer orders for shipment. This role is crucial to our logistics operations, ensuring that our customers receive the correct items in a timely manner. You will work closely with inventory management and shipping departments to maintain optimal stock levels and facilitate smooth warehouse operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, possesses excellent physical stamina, and is committed to upholding our high standards of safety and efficiency. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using an RF scanner or pick sheet.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Package items securely for shipment, meeting company standards.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Report any discrepancies in inventory or order fulfillment immediately.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock checks as required.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or order picking experience preferred, but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent physical stamina and the ability to perform repetitive Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety procedures.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
