Your responsibilities will include managing the flow of inventory, documenting shipments accurately, and ensuring that all items are handled with care. A strong understanding of logistics and warehouse operations is beneficial. You will work closely with carriers, internal teams, and customers to ensure smooth and efficient operations. This position requires excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and orderly workplace. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately receive, inspect, and log all incoming shipments.
- Verify packing slips against received goods, reporting discrepancies.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring proper packaging, labeling, and documentation.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with regular cycle counts.
- Coordinate with shipping carriers for pickups and deliveries.
- Ensure the shipping and receiving areas are clean, organized, and safe.
- Adhere to all company safety policies, including the correct use of PPE.
- Support overall logistics and warehouse efficiency.
- Ability to perform manual lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments and external partners.
- Contribute to a positive and productive team environment.
