We are hiring enthusiastic Picker/Packers for our Oklahoma City, Oklahoma facility! This essential role supports our overall logistics network by ensuring orders are picked accurately and packed with care. You will be responsible for retrieving products from storage locations and preparing them for shipment to our valued customers. Responsibilities:
- Accurately select products from designated warehouse locations based on pick tickets or scanner instructions.
- Package items securely using appropriate materials to ensure safe delivery.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as RF scanners and potentially pallet jacks.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to housekeeping standards.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and procedures, including proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory control measures as directed.
- Support the efficient flow of goods within the distribution center's logistics system.
- Perform repetitive lifting and movement of items, following safe lifting practices.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet daily order fulfillment targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is a plus.
- Previous experience in a picking or packing role is beneficial.
- Ability to stand for long hours, walk, bend, and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.
- Capacity to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure order accuracy.
- Basic comprehension and communication skills.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety practices.
- Commitment to wearing appropriate PPE and following all safety instructions.
