This role is fundamental to our Logistics success, involving the handling of goods to ensure efficient operations and timely order fulfillment. You will be involved in various warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and preparing items for shipment. A strong focus on Safety and accuracy is essential for this position. Key responsibilities include:
- Receive and inspect incoming stock, verifying quantities and quality.
- Accurately put away merchandise into designated storage locations.
- Pick customer orders efficiently using provided documentation or scanning technology.
- Pack items securely and safely for transit, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Prepare orders for shipping, ensuring correct labeling and documentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working area, adhering to all Safety standards.
- Operate pallet jacks and other manual handling equipment as needed.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and other stock-taking activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to meet warehouse productivity targets.
We are seeking dependable and hardworking individuals who can thrive in a fast-paced environment. Previous warehouse or Logistics experience is advantageous. This position requires physical capability, including consistent Lifting of items up to 40 pounds and periods of standing, walking, and bending. Your Safety is our priority, and we supply all mandatory Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
