Our Tampa, Florida facility is seeking an experienced Warehouse Coordinator to oversee daily warehouse operations. This leadership role is crucial for managing inventory, coordinating staff, and ensuring the smooth flow of goods within our logistics network. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and leadership skills and a proven track record in warehouse management. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate warehouse staff, providing guidance and training.
- Oversee receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
- Develop and implement efficient warehouse processes and procedures.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and minimize discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and Safety regulations.
- Coordinate with transportation and shipping departments to ensure timely deliveries.
- Maintain warehouse equipment and ensure its proper functionality.
- Implement and enforce strict adherence to PPE requirements for all staff.
- Analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction.
- Optimize space utilization and maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in warehouse management or as a Warehouse Coordinator.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and Logistics best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
- Proficiency in warehouse management software (WMS).
- Ability to handle physical demands, including occasional Lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Commitment to maintaining a high standard of Safety and ensuring all staff follow protocols, including proper use of PPE .
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
