Join our team as an Order Picker in Dallas, Texas! This role is crucial for ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from warehouse shelves based on order tickets. Your efficiency and precision directly impact our **Logistics** operations and customer satisfaction. You will utilize equipment such as order pickers, pallet jacks, and scanners to navigate the warehouse and retrieve products. A strong emphasis is placed on **Safety**, and adherence to all company **Safety** protocols and the proper use of **PPE** is mandatory. This position requires physical stamina, including the ability to walk extensively, bend, reach, and perform frequent **Lifting** of items up to 50 lbs. Experience with RF scanning technology is highly desirable. We are seeking individuals who are highly motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Your accuracy and speed will be key to meeting our operational targets and contributing to our success.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders from warehouse locations using pick lists or scanners.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Operate order picking equipment, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery safely.
- Transport picked items to designated packing or staging areas.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in picking zones.
- Assist with inventory control tasks, including cycle counts and stock checks.
- Report any issues related to inventory, equipment, or **Safety**.
- Strictly follow all **Safety** guidelines and wear required **PPE**.
- Meet or exceed established picking productivity rates.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the **Logistics** department.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to perform **Lifting** of up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Proficiency in operating warehouse equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of **Logistics** and inventory management practices.
- Commitment to **Safety** and proper use of **PPE**.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment.
