Join our expanding logistics team in Atlanta, Georgia as a Warehouse Worker! We are seeking energetic and dependable individuals to contribute to our warehouse operations. This role is fundamental to our supply chain, involving the handling of goods from receiving through to shipping. Your daily tasks will include picking, packing, sorting, and potentially loading and unloading products. Responsibilities:
- Process incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and checking for damage.
- Sort and store products in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick items according to order fulfillment requirements.
- Pack products securely for shipment.
- Load and unload materials and products from trucks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Operate manual equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols, including the correct use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts as directed.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Prior experience in a warehouse or distribution setting is beneficial.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and follow instructions.
- Understanding of basic logistics principles is helpful.
- Willingness to adhere to safety standards and wear required PPE.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
