Are you a skilled and certified Forklift Operator seeking a new opportunity? Our Salt Lake City, Utah location is hiring experienced individuals to join our essential logistics team. In this role, you will be crucial in managing the safe and efficient movement of goods throughout our distribution center. Your responsibilities will include operating forklifts to transport materials, load and unload trucks, and maintain accurate inventory tallies. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) to move, stack, and retrieve inventory.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles efficiently and accurately.
- Conduct daily inspections of forklift equipment, reporting any defects or maintenance needs.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and update warehouse management systems.
- Follow all Safety guidelines, including the use of appropriate PPE.
- Adhere to traffic flow and operational procedures within the warehouse.
- Assist with other warehouse duties, including occasional manual Lifting.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and orderly work environment.
Requirements:
- Current forklift operator certification and proven experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of warehouse Safety best practices and Logistics operations.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring physical exertion, including Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
