In this critical role, you will be responsible for operating a reach truck to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. As a key member of our Logistics team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods throughout our facility. We provide comprehensive training and all necessary PPE to ensure your well-being. This role involves significant physical activity, including the ability to perform moderate Lifting . The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of safe operation of reach trucks and other warehouse equipment. Responsibilities:
- Operate a reach truck to move, retrieve, and place pallets of goods.
- Safely navigate narrow aisles and high-density storage systems.
- Perform daily equipment checks and report any issues.
- Accurately record inventory movements and locations.
- Assist with receiving and shipping operations as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all Safety regulations.
- Properly use all required PPE , including safety harnesses when operating at heights.
- Contribute to efficient Logistics flow and order fulfillment.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned, including some manual Lifting .
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid certification and proven experience operating a reach truck.
- Minimum of 1 year of warehouse experience preferred.
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace Safety .
- Ability to perform moderate Lifting and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Familiarity with Logistics operations and inventory management.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must wear and maintain all issued PPE .
- Good communication skills and attention to detail.
