We are seeking a motivated and reliable Distribution Center Associate to join our dynamic team in Huntsville, Alabama. As a Distribution Center Associate, you will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our warehouse, ensuring that products are received, stored, and shipped accurately and on time. You will be responsible for various tasks including, but not limited to, receiving and unloading incoming shipments, inspecting goods for damages or discrepancies, stocking merchandise into designated areas, and accurately picking and packing orders for shipment. Maintaining a clean and organized work area is paramount to ensure smooth operations and adherence to safety protocols. We emphasize a strong commitment to safety, and all associates are required to use provided PPE and follow established safety procedures at all times. This role involves significant physical activity, including frequent lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming inventory.
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders for shipment.
- Stock shelves and maintain inventory levels.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and utilize appropriate PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve operational goals.
- Assist with shipping and receiving documentation.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring frequent lifting, bending, and standing.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Commitment to workplace safety and willingness to wear PPE.
