We are looking for an experienced Inventory Clerk to join our San Diego, California warehouse team. This position is critical for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory. You will be responsible for performing cycle counts, reconciling inventory discrepancies, organizing stock, and assisting with inventory audits. A thorough understanding of inventory management systems and best practices is essential. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, highly organized, and possess strong analytical skills. You will work closely with warehouse associates and supervisors to ensure that our inventory data is precise and reflects physical stock levels, which is fundamental to our logistics operations. Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory checks.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between system records and physical inventory.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using our Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Organize and manage stockroom inventory for easy access and identification.
- Assist with receiving and put-away processes to ensure proper stocking.
- Generate inventory reports as needed for management.
- Ensure compliance with all inventory control policies and procedures.
- Adhere to all Safety regulations and proper use of PPE .
- Support the Logistics team by providing accurate inventory data.
- Perform other inventory-related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred.
- Proven experience as an Inventory Clerk or in a similar inventory management role.
- Proficiency in WMS software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring moderate physical exertion, including occasional Lifting up to 30 lbs.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and Logistics .
- Commitment to workplace Safety .
