We are looking for enthusiastic Distribution Center Associates to join our dynamic team in Huntsville, Alabama. This role is fundamental to the efficiency of our logistics operations, ensuring that goods are received, stored, and dispatched smoothly. You will engage in a variety of tasks, including loading and unloading trucks, stocking shelves, picking and packing orders, and preparing shipments. A proactive attitude, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively in a team are essential. We value individuals who are committed to maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Training will be provided for all specific tasks and equipment. Safety is our highest priority, so you must be diligent in following all safety procedures, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and be prepared for tasks that involve significant lifting, with potential for lifting items up to 50 lbs regularly. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and store incoming inventory.
- Pick and pack orders accurately according to customer specifications.
- Load and prepare outgoing shipments.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the distribution center.
- Operate material handling equipment safely.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including proper PPE usage.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to guidelines.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
