We are hiring a skilled Warehouse Technician for our Las Vegas, Nevada facility. This position is integral to the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse and logistics hub. As a Warehouse Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of warehouse equipment, machinery, and facilities. Your expertise will ensure that our operational tools, such as forklifts, conveyor systems, and pallet jacks, are in optimal working condition. You will conduct routine inspections, perform preventative maintenance, and troubleshoot any issues that arise to minimize downtime. A strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems is highly desirable. This role demands a proactive approach to safety, including strict adherence to all safety regulations, proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and safe operating procedures for all equipment. Experience with diagnostic tools and repair techniques is essential. The ability to work independently and as part of a team, coupled with a commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment, is key. Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on warehouse equipment (forklifts, conveyors, etc.).
- Conduct diagnostic tests to identify equipment malfunctions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues.
- Ensure all equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a log of maintenance and repair activities.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations, including proper PPE usage.
- Assist with the installation and setup of new equipment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar role.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment and machinery.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Basic understanding of logistics operations.
- Willingness to perform moderate lifting as required.
