Job Summary:
We are hiring a skilled Forklift Operator in Colorado Springs, Colorado, to manage the movement of materials within our distribution center. This critical role ensures the efficient and safe handling of goods, supporting our overall logistics operations. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. You will also be involved in loading and unloading trucks, performing routine equipment checks, and maintaining a safe work environment. The ideal candidate will possess a valid forklift certification, a strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Experience with high-reach or specialized forklift equipment is a plus. Adherence to all safety regulations, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and proper lifting techniques, is paramount.   • Operating forklifts to transport raw materials and finished goods within the warehouse.
  • Loading and unloading trucks safely and efficiently.
  • Stacking and organizing inventory in designated areas.
  • Conducting daily inspections of forklifts and reporting any maintenance issues.
  • Assisting with inventory control and stocktaking as needed.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area, free from obstructions.
  • Following all established safety protocols and procedures.
  • Practicing safe lifting techniques when handling non-palletized items.
