Our Atlanta, Georgia facility is seeking a skilled Inventory Control Specialist to enhance our inventory management processes. This key role ensures the accuracy, completeness, and efficiency of our inventory system. You will be responsible for conducting regular cycle counts, reconciling inventory discrepancies, and investigating their root causes. Developing and implementing inventory control procedures, analyzing inventory data to identify trends, and recommending improvements will be central to your responsibilities. You will collaborate with other departments, including purchasing, receiving, and shipping, to optimize inventory flow and prevent stock-outs or overstock situations. Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and a solid understanding of inventory control principles are essential. Your work will involve ensuring the integrity of inventory records, managing product location data, and contributing to process improvements. Safety is a top priority; therefore, adherence to all safety guidelines and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory. While this role requires analytical and administrative skills, the ability to perform occasional Lifting of up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods is also necessary.
