Join our highly skilled and experienced team of Cardiologist, Rad Techs, Paramedics, and RNs in the lab. Our Cath Lab is a collaborative environment, as we work together to save lives and better the outcomes of our patients.
The Role You'll Contribute:
Under the supervision of a licensed cardiologist
Provide technical support and assistance to the physician diagnosing and treating cardiac and peripheral disease, and cardiac arrhythmias in the Cath Lab.
Including but not limited to diagnostic coronary and interventional angiography procedures, pacemaker/ICD implantation, other interventional cardiac/vascular procedures, and interventional radiology procedures.
Provides patient care, operates equipment, performs scrub, circulator and hemodynamic monitoring duties during procedures using clinical knowledge, technical skills, and professional judgement in accordance with professional and departmental standards and protocols.
Must have strong work ethic and ability to multitask in a high-stressed environment.
Valid State Licensure, current BLS & ACLS
Kansas Medical Center (KMC) is a fully physician owned 58 inpatient bed hospital that opened in 2006. Our mission is to provide patient-centered care through the empowerment of physicians and other care-givers enhanced by state-of-the-art technology.
We have 6 operating rooms, 2 procedure rooms, 2 new Cath Labs, Emergency Department services and outpatient services that include X-ray, CT, MRI, PET, PT, Lab and Cardiac Rehab. In addition to our main campus, KMC operates 3 Family Practice clinics, a large cardiology clinic and multiple cardiology outreach clinics throughout the state of Kansas.
