We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating, planning, and implementing individualized care plans for patients recovering from injuries or surgeries, particularly in the areas of orthopedics and inpatient care. This role requires a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with patients and their families to promote recovery and improve quality of life.
*Responsibilities*
* Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical abilities and limitations.
* Develop and implement personalized care plans based on patient assessments.
* Provide hands-on physical therapy treatments, including exercises, manual therapy, and modalities.
* Educate patients on their conditions and the importance of adherence to treatment plans.
* Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
* Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with medical terminology standards.
* Stay updated on the latest developments in physical therapy practices and techniques.
*Experience*
* A degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
* Valid state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist.
* Experience in orthopedics or inpatient care is preferred but not mandatory.
* Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology is essential.
* Previous experience developing care plans tailored to individual patient needs is a plus.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and communication.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
