Our client is a well-established and growing consultancy working across a diverse portfolio of high-quality residential and commercial developments throughout London. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Design Engineer to join their team and play a key role in the delivery of technically challenging and design-led projects. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking to develop their career within a collaborative environment, working closely with architects, contractors, and developers. M&E Design Engineer Key Responsibilities
Produce mechanical and/or electrical designs from concept through to construction Prepare calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical reports Coordinate M&E services with architectural and structural teams Attend design meetings and liaise with clients and project stakeholders Support projects through planning, tender, and construction stages Ensure designs comply with current regulations, standards, and best practice Assist with site inspections and respond to technical queries M&E Design Engineer Qualifications
Degree-qualified (or equivalent) in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering Experience working on residential and/or commercial projects within the UK Strong understanding of UK building regulations and industry standards Proficient in relevant design software (e.g. AutoCAD, Revit, IES, Hevacomp, Dialux - depending on discipline) Excellent communication and coordination skills Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently and as part of a team What's on Offer
