With 30 locations throughout the U.S. and treatment options available virtually, ERC Pathlight meets patients where they're at to offer innovative, compassionate and comprehensive treatment for eating disorders, as well as mood, anxiety and trauma-related disorders.

We were founded in 2008 by pre-eminent psychiatrists and psychologists and treat 6,000+ patients per year. With the critical need for mental health care and eating disorder treatment, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic, we're looking for passionate and qualified professionals who will live out our mission to help save the lives of our patients.

What you'll be doing

The Payor Credentialing Specialist performs duties associated with credentialing, re-credentialing, and privileging network providers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Verify the credentials of healthcare providers, including education, training, licensure, and certifications.
  • Communicate with delegated organizations to obtain necessary documentation and resolve any issues.
  • Assist providers with licensing applications and renewals utilizing MD Staff Software
  • Processes Facility and Provider initial applications and re-applications (credentialing and recredentialing), including initial mailing, review, and loading.
  • Develops and maintains recredentialing compliance database.
  • Communicates with providers regarding credentialing status.
  • Maintains provider profiling systems.
  • Ensures that credentialing practices adhere to organizational standards and current industry trends.
  • Assists with audits and provides feedback to reduce errors and improve processes and performance.

Must Haves

  • High School or GED required
  • Bachelor's degree preferred. Equivalent years of experience (in addition to requirement) may be substituted for degree.
  • Strong organization skills. Detail oriented. Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
  • Able to communicate in a professional manner both verbally and in writing.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare facility credentialing and physician credentialing.

Bonus Qualities

  • Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS)
  • Experience utilizing MD Staff Software

Compensation range for the Payor Credentialing Specialist role is $21.00 to $28.50 per hour. Ranges are based upon market expectations and are dependent upon candidate experience.
