Final Mile Delivery Helper

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Furniture Delivery & Assembly Helper to join our team. In this role, you will work as part of a two-person crew to deliver and assemble furniture for our customers. This is a physically demanding position that requires heavy lifting, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist driver in loading, unloading, and delivering furniture to customer locations
• Assemble furniture on-site using basic hand tools and following manufacturer instructions
• Safely lift and move items weighing up to 300 lbs as part of a two-person team
• Ensure items are delivered without damage and placed in the correct location in the customer's home or business
• Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle and work area
• Interact with customers in a friendly, professional manner, addressing questions or concerns
• Follow all safety procedures, including proper lifting techniques and use of moving equipment

Required Qualifications

• Ability to start work at 5:00 AM and work extended hours as needed
• Capable of assisting with lifting and moving items weighing up to 300 lbs as part of a two-person team (using proper equipment and techniques)
• Experience with basic hand tools and furniture assembly
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Reliability and punctuality in attendance and performance
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in furniture delivery, moving, or assembly
• Familiarity with safe lifting practices and use of moving equipment (dollies, straps, etc.)
• Basic problem-solving skills for on-site assembly or delivery challenges
• Positive attitude and professional appearance when interacting with customers

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $150.00 per day
