Production Supervisor

Quanex is looking for a Production Supervisor - 1st or 2nd Shift to join our team located in Greenville, PA.

In this role you are responsible for managing direct reports, mentoring, discipline, performance monitoring/appraisals, embrace and influence your team around continuous improvement, Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Safety.

What Success Looks Like:

• Develop and execute plans to meet or exceed departmental and division goals of productivity, quality and cost efficiency.
• Monitor priority dispatch and customer service requirements.
• Identify, analyze, and act to correct bottlenecks, product defect rates, safety hazards, and maintenance problems.
• Administer company policy fairly and consistently.
• Discipline employees when required as per company policy.
• Resolve employee conflicts fairly as they arise and document outcomes to support discipline activities.
• Assist Engineering in originating RFEs (Cap X projects) for required equipment to improve quality, productivity, and capacity.
• Is a team player and supports Production Supervisors across all shifts.
• Participate in safety committee, audits, and all company objectives related to safety.
• Understands labor efficiency and assists in reach goals while making good business decisions.

Your Credentials:

• A Bachelor degree and/or 5-7 year experience in manufacturing or supervision.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Competent in Microsoft Office 
• Possess a high degree of interpersonal skills. 

The salary range for this position is $66,174 - $99,261 w/ bonus potential. 

1st- Shift- 5:00am-3:30pm
2nd Shift - 6:30pm to 5:00am
