Production Manager

Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to join our Production Department. This position is based in our New York Corporate office and reports to our Director of Production.
Responsibilities
- Daily communication with factories, problem solving and schedule management.
- Independently work on weekly WIP with factories to track progress
- Attend weekly production meetings prepared with garment status updates/reports
- Proactively help ensure all standards are met in production stage – cost, quality, delivery
- Analyze and calculate COGS
- Partner with Design, Product Development, and Merchandising to achieve target cost margin (understand costing breakdowns – fabric, trim, CM, duty & transportation)
- Email follow-up in a timely manner
- Manage and develop Overseas Production Assistant
- Data entry and upkeep into ERP system
- Assist with creating and maintaining POs in ERP system
- Sample tracking, logging and review before handing over to tech team
- Ensuring BOM's are accurately maintained from collection handover to production
- Reviewing and approving factory shipping documents and invoices
- Communicate bulk shipments to Logistics
- Partner with Raw Materials Team to maintain accurate EOM liability
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience in production exclusively in the fashion industry
- Experience in both domestic and overseas production
- Understanding of seasonal production calendar and lead times
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects at once while working in a fast-paced environment
- Detail oriented and analytical
- Highly organized and efficient
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- PC skills in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Preferred ERP experience from previous employment.

The base salary range for this role is between $90,000 and $100,000. The relevant base salary will vary depending on wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training, degrees, and certifications. The base salary is just one component of our total compensation offerings, which consist of a comprehensive benefits package as well as a short-term incentive program, clothing allowance, and merchandise discounts.
