About the Role

We're looking for a reliable, customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to support day-to-day store operations and deliver an elevated in-store experience. This is a part-time role (3–4 days per week) with weekend availability required.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in their work, and understands that great retail is about consistency, product knowledge, and follow-through — not just ringing people up.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide warm, attentive, and knowledgeable customer service
• Assist customers with product selection, gifting, and styling suggestions
• Operate POS and process sales accurately (Shopify POS)
• Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and visual standards
• Restock merchandise and assist with inventory tasks
• Support merchandising updates and seasonal refreshes
• Handle opening and closing duties as scheduled
• Represent the Olive & Loom brand with professionalism and care

What We're Looking For

• Prior experience in retail, customer service, or sales (required)
• Reliable, punctual, and consistent — this is non-negotiable
• Comfortable engaging with customers and initiating conversation
• Detail-oriented and able to follow systems and standards
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment
• Team-oriented with a positive, no-drama attitude
• Available 3–4 days per week, including weekends
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs and be on your feet for extended periods

Nice to Have (But Not Required)

• Experience with Shopify or similar POS systems
• Interest in home goods, textiles, design, or lifestyle brands
• Visual merchandising experience

Schedule & Compensation

• Part-time (3–4 shifts per week)
• Weekends required
• Hourly pay based on experience
