Boiler Technician

Thermacore is a family run boiler service company specializing in steam and hot water heating systems for residential, multifamily, and commercial buildings. We are looking to add a Boiler Technician to our team as we continue to grow.

This position is ideal for an experienced boiler technician or for someone with a HVAC, mechanical, or electrical background who wants to specialize in boilers. Steam experience is a plus but not required. We are willing to train the right person and invest long term.

Responsibilities

• Service, diagnose, and repair steam and hot water boiler systems
• Troubleshoot heating issues in multifamily and commercial buildings
• Work with pumps, valves, controls, safeties, and burners
• Perform preventive maintenance and system inspections
• Assist with boiler installations and repairs
• Read wiring diagrams and basic control schematics
• Document work performed and communicate clearly with the team and clients
• Maintain clean and professional job sites

Experience and Qualifications

• Previous HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, or electrical experience
• Basic electrical knowledge and troubleshooting ability preferred
• Experience with boilers or steam systems is a plus
• Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently once trained
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Schedule

• After hours or emergency work paid accordingly

Pay: $ $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
