Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Kennel Technician to join our team. The Kennel Technician will care for hospitalized animals, assist with treatments, and support the veterinary team, including occasional handling of exotic pets if needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Feed, water, and monitor animals according to hospital protocols.
• Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, and common areas.
• Monitor hospitalized animals and report any changes in behavior, appetite, or health to veterinary staff.
• Assist veterinary technicians and veterinarians with procedures, treatments, and restraints, including exotic pets as needed.
• Maintain inventory of kennel supplies and communicate needs to management.
• Ensure a safe and organized environment for animals, staff, and clients.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a veterinary clinic, animal shelter, or kennel preferred but not required.
• Comfort and ability to handle dogs, cats, and exotic animals.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions carefully.
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
