Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of the Dietary Department, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations
• Plan, prepare, and review menus in accordance with resident needs and dietary guidelines
• Supervise, schedule, train, and evaluate dietary staff
• Ensure safe food handling, sanitation, and infection control practices
• Collaborate with nursing and clinical teams to meet resident nutritional needs
• Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control
• Participate in care plan meetings and quality assurance initiatives

Qualifications:

• Previous dietary management experience in long-term care or healthcare setting preferred
• Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) or ability/willingness to obtain certification
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and therapeutic diets
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain high standards of service
