Janitorial/Maintenance Associate

Position Summary:

• The Janitorial/Maintenance Associate is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, organization, and basic upkeep of the facility, including office areas, production floors, restrooms, and common spaces. This role also assists with minor building maintenance, equipment upkeep, and facility support tasks to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Janitorial Duties:

• Perform daily cleaning and sanitation of restrooms, break areas, and production spaces.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and remove trash throughout the facility.
• Clean windows, walls, and surfaces as needed.
• Refill and restock cleaning and restroom supplies.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals in accordance with safety standards.

Maintenance Support:

• Support maintenance staff in preventive maintenance tasks as assigned.
• Inspect facility for cleanliness, safety hazards, and maintenance needs; report issues promptly.
• Help maintain exterior grounds, including walkways and entrances, as needed (e.g., snow removal, sweeping, debris pickup).

Safety and Compliance:

• Follow all Moveras safety policies and procedures.
• Use proper PPE and adhere to all OSHA and environmental standards.
• Participate in safety and maintenance training as required.
