This family is searching for a kind, dependable caregiver who genuinely enjoys spending time with babies and understands how important connection, play, and routine are during this stage of development. Their ideal nanny is someone who is attentive, patient, and confident engaging a curious little one through simple enrichment activities and outdoor time.

Here's the scoop:
Care will focus on the baby while mom manages school transportation for the older sibling and other day-to-day responsibilities. Mom is a stay-at-home parent and will be the primary point of contact; therefore, comfort working alongside a parent who is occasionally present in the home is important. She is kind, communicative, and values a collaborative partnership with their nanny.

Daily responsibilities include engaging and playing with the baby, enjoying daily outdoor time such as walks and play, preparing bottles and meals as directed, and tidying child-related spaces. The family follows a child-led parenting approach, emphasizing gentle redirection and natural consequences, and would love a nanny who aligns with these values.

One of the biggest perks of this position is flexibility — the family offers two set schedule options and is happy to let the nanny choose which works best for her availability. Occasional date-night care for both children is also welcomed for someone interested in extra hours.

Wages

• $20-25 per hour (based on experience)
• 20 hours per week, paid weekly
• 20 guaranteed hours

Hours

• Monday-Friday
• Option 1: 7:30 AM-12:30 PM
• Option 2: 10:30 AM-3:30 PM

The family is flexible and happy to allow the nanny to choose which set of hours works best for her schedule.

Occasional date-night care for both children (infant and older brother) is also desired but not required.

Benefits

• 5 paid sick days per year
• 4 Paid Holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Independence Day)

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and nurturing care
• Engage in enrichment activities such as reading, music, simple art, play, and daily outdoor time, including walks
• Follow the baby's bottle feeding, eating, and nap schedules
• Clean up after the child throughout the day (play areas, dishes, bottles, messes, etc.)
• Assist with the child's laundry as needed
• Maintain a tidy environment so the home is returned to its original condition or better at the end of the day
• Communicate openly and effectively with mom about the day, routines, and any needs or concerns

Requirements

• Must be 21 or older
• Legally eligible to work in the U.S.
• Clean Criminal Background
• Non-smoker (or vaping)
• No use of illicit or illegal drugs
• 3 Professional References (not including family)
• CPR & First Aid Certified (required before start date)
• Must be dependable and punctual

• Prior professional experience caring for babies
• Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate activities
• Warm, calm, and engaging care-giving style
