Encapsulation Press Operator

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Encapsulation Press Operator to join our growing manufacturing team. Experience running a semi-automatic and fully-automatic encapsulation press.

This role is vital in ensuring the efficient production of high-quality encapsulated products in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing processes, materials handling, and operate with a focus on safety and precision. Prior knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, CGMP standards, and warehouse operations will be advantageous. Duties

• Operate encapsulation presses and related machinery to produce consistent, high-quality products according to specifications.
• Monitor machine performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Handle materials safely, including loading raw materials and packaging finished goods for shipment.
• Follow CGMP guidelines and safety protocols to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation for quality assurance purposes.
• Assist with materials handling tasks using forklifts or other equipment as needed.
• Support laboratory testing procedures when required to verify product quality.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives utilizing lean manufacturing techniques.
• Ensure work area cleanliness and organization in accordance with safety standards.

Skills

• Experience with manufacturing equipment operation, particularly encapsulation presses or similar machinery.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles to optimize production efficiency.
• Familiarity with CGMP standards and laboratory testing procedures related to pharmaceutical or biotech manufacturing.
• Ability to operate forklifts and handle materials safely within warehouse environments.
• Skills in machining or equipment maintenance are a plus.
• Warehouse experience including inventory management and packaging processes is desirable.
• Strong attention to detail, safety consciousness, and ability to follow detailed instructions accurately.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. This role is essential for maintaining high standards of production quality while adhering to safety regulations and operational efficiencies within our manufacturing facility.

Pay: $60, $85,000.00 per year
