The Fleet and Inventory Associate supports the Fleet and Inventory Manager with day-to-day operational tasks related to company vehicles, equipment, materials, and inventory. This role is hands-on, adaptable, and task-driven, with responsibilities that may change based on operational needs and direction from management. The associate plays a key support role in maintaining organization, efficiency, and accountability across fleet and inventory operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Fleet and Inventory Manager with daily operational tasks as assigned
- Support fleet-related activities including vehicle coordination, inspections, cleanliness, and basic tracking
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving, organizing, counting, and tracking materials, equipment, and supplies
- Help maintain accurate records related to fleet assets, inventory levels, and usage
- Coordinate with technicians, office staff, and vendors as needed to support operations
- Assist with preparing vehicles or equipment for deployment, reassignment, or return
- Identify and report issues related to fleet condition, inventory shortages, or operational inefficiencies
- Perform general administrative and operational support tasks related to fleet and inventory management
- Carry out special projects and additional duties as assigned by the Fleet and Inventory Manager
Qualifications
- Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance, including inspections, service schedules, and general vehicle care
- Basic understanding of inventory control practices, including tracking, organization, and accuracy
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and daily tasks
- Comfortable working independently while following direction
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn internal systems
- Valid driver's license and ability to move vehicles as needed
- Ability to lift, move, and organize equipment or supplies when required
Work Environment
This role involves a mix of office, warehouse, and field-related tasks. Daily responsibilities may vary and will be assigned based on current operational needs.

Work Schedule
Full-time (On-site in San Jose, CA)
Monday through Friday, generally 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The schedule may vary slightly based on operational needs.
Pay: $ $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
