Front Desk Agent

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and personable Front Desk Agent to join our team in providing exceptional guest services at our hotel. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality management and demonstrate excellent customer service skills. As the first point of contact for guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with the check-in process
• Manage reservations, cancellations, and modifications efficiently
• Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction
• Maintain accurate records of guest accounts and transactions
• Conduct night audits as required, ensuring all financial transactions are balanced
• Operate multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy
• Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest needs are met
• Uphold the highest standards of hospitality and guest relations throughout the stay
• Open to work any shift if needed.

Experience

• Previous experience in hotel management or front desk operations is preferred
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
• Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to accommodate diverse guests
• Familiarity with night audit procedures is a plus
• Proficient in phone etiquette and handling multi-line phone systems
• A background in hospitality environments is beneficial
