Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations of our restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of food service management, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. This role involves managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, controlling inventory, and maintaining high-quality service in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in Japanese restaurant is highly valued. The Restaurant Manager will play a key role in fostering a positive team environment and ensuring operational excellence across all departments. We are also looking for someone who can bring fresh ideas to the table.
Duties
- Supervise daily restaurant operations, including front-of-house and kitchen activities
- Lead staff training, development, and performance evaluations to ensure high standards of service
- Oversee food preparation, presentation, and quality control to meet safety and culinary standards
- Control inventory levels, order supplies, and monitor food production to minimize waste and optimize costs
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards
- Coordinate shift management to ensure smooth service flow during peak hours
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints promptly to maintain excellent customer satisfaction
- Assist with budgeting, labor scheduling, and overall restaurant financial management
- Control new ways to attract customers
Experience
- Proven management experience within the food industry, preferably in quick service & fast food or casual dining environments
- Strong background in food safety, kitchen management, and hospitality management practices
- At least 5+ years of experience with managing a restaurant
- Experience supervising staff, conducting interviews, and leading team development initiatives
- Familiarity with food handling procedures, inventory control, and food production processes
- Prior experience in a Japanese restaurant is preferred
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to train staff effectively and foster a team-oriented environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70, $100,000.00 per year
