Maintenance Technician- Construction and Remodeling

Position Summary:

We are seeking advanced level maintenance techs to work with our construction team. This role requires expertise in various construction trades, including carpentry, drywall, painting, flooring, and basic plumbing and electrical work. The ideal candidate takes pride in quality craftsmanship, works efficiently with minimal supervision, and ensures all projects are completed safely, on time, and to company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general maintenance, repairs, and remodeling projects as assigned, including unit turns, renovations, and property upgrades.
• Complete skilled work in multiple trades such as carpentry, drywall installation/repair, framing, painting, flooring, tiling, and minor plumbing and electrical.
• Assist with property improvement projects, including kitchen and bathroom remodels, cabinet installation, and fixture replacement.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards, building codes, and company policies.
• Work collaboratively with the maintenance team, contractors, and management to prioritize and complete projects efficiently.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in general maintenance, construction, or remodeling.
• Proven skills in multiple trades (carpentry, drywall, painting, flooring, etc.).
• Experience working in multi-family housing, property management preferred

Skills & Abilities:

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physical labor for extended periods.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.

Work Environment:

This position requires working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. May include exposure to dust, paint fumes, and construction materials. Regular use of power tools and ladders is required.
