Sakura Gardens of Los Angeles is looking for a Full-time Dishwasher to join our team

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Dishwasher to join our Dining Services team a senior living community committed to providing exceptional care and hospitality. This dual-role position supports the kitchen and dining room by ensuring cleanliness, timely meal service, and a pleasant dining experience for our residents.

Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent dining service to residents during meal times, ensuring a pleasant dining experience.
• Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including clearing tables, sanitizing surfaces, and ensuring a tidy environment.
• Interact with residents courteously and respond to their requests or concerns promptly.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff, caregivers, and other team members to ensure efficient and smooth dining services.
• Have a good understanding of the menu, including dietary restrictions and special requests, to assist residents effectively.
• Operate dishwashing machines to clean dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Ensure all dishware and kitchen tools are sanitized according to health and safety standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dishwashing area, including sweeping and mopping.
• Assist with trash removal and recycling processes.

Skills:

• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Patience and customer-oriented approach.
• Ability to communicate effectively and maintain a positive attitude.
• Basic understanding of food safety guidelines and hygiene standards.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• A high school diploma is a plus.
